Job summary

Portable Power Technology, based in West Kingsdown, Kent, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to translate customer requirements into practical power solutions. You will act as the technical contact, assess applications and specify suitable products or systems, while providing support by phone and email to help grow customer relationships.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of low voltage DC electrical circuits and batteries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Confidence troubleshooting technical problems and recommending practical solutions.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical contact for new and existing customers and assess their application.
Specify products or complete systems to meet customer requirements.
Provide technical support by phone and email, troubleshoot problems and prepare quotations.
