Portable Power Technology in West Kingsdown, Kent, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to translate customer needs into practical power solutions. You’ll assess applications, specify products, provide technical support by phone and email, and build new customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of low voltage DC electrical circuits, batteries and electrical principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Confidence troubleshooting technical problems and recommending practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and assess applications to specify the right products or complete systems.
• Provide technical support by phone and email, troubleshoot problems and prepare quotations.
• Help develop new customer relationships and follow up opportunities.
