Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a 12-month power infrastructure project in Suffolk. The role focuses on setting out trenches using GPS and an iCON controller, installing ducting with a CBS surround, and performing CBS testing under guidance.

You will complete daily as-built records, photographs and QA documentation, and work closely with site management to ensure drawings, specifications and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Site Engineer with setting-out experience and GPS/iCON competency.
• CSCS card mandatory.
• Experience with ducting, utilities or civils works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Commitment to quality, safety and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Set out line and level of trenches using GPS and iCON controller.
• Oversee underground duct installations and CBS surround.
• Carry out CBS testing and backfilling under supervision.
• Complete daily as-built records, photos and check forms.
