Job summary

Aon is hiring a Power Risk Engineer to join the ANRE team. This role blends consultancy for power generation and transmission with client relationship management and technical support across global markets.

Responsibilities include leading client engagements, delivering risk analyses, and developing training while coordinating with Aon's practice groups and brokers. Travel ~80 days per year; and support the transition to a low carbon economy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status.
• Proven ability to produce high quality written reports within deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (about 80 days per year).

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and deliver consultancy services, including on-site surveys and market reports.
• Provide training seminars/workshops and technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with practice groups and broking teams to identify new business opportunities.
• Engage with international energy engineers and promote ANRE products and risk engineering programs.
• Support data analytics, risk evaluation, and development of technical procedures.
• Contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy as an internal reference point.
