Job summary

Aon plc in the UK is seeking a Power Risk Engineer to join the ANRE team. The role is home-based and you will provide risk engineering consulting to internal and external clients in the Power sector, including transmission and generation assets, conventional and renewable.

You will lead client relationships, develop opportunities, deliver training, and work closely with Aon practice groups and broking colleagues on insurance programmes. The position may require travel up to 80 days per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in power generation (conventional or renewable) or electricity transmission.
• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships, develop opportunities, and deliver consultancy services.
• Provide training seminars/workshops and technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with Aon practice groups and broking teams to place programmes.
• Build relationships with energy insurance communities and promote ANRE products.
• Identify project risks and propose technical solutions across project lifecycles.
