Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a Developer in the Design, Develop and Transition team to design, build and enhance digital services using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate with colleagues across technology and council services to translate user needs into secure, well-tested solutions that make a real difference.

You should have a computer-related degree or equivalent experience, hands-on software development skills, and strong knowledge of Power Platform, Azure, C#,

Qualifications

• Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical knowledge.
• Hands-on software development experience with Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Azure services, C#, or modern web development.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve apps, integrations, processes and automations that meet user needs.
• Write clean, secure and well-tested code following agreed standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects and testers to identify effective technical approaches.
• Explain technical options clearly and collaborate with colleagues to build relationships.
• Produce technical documentation, assist with testing and deployments and resolve issues.
