Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking a Developer within the Design, Develop and Transition team to design, build and enhance digital services that support staff and residents. Leveraging the Power Platform, you will turn user needs into secure, tested solutions while collaborating across technology and council services.

You will work in a multidisciplinary agile team, manage workload effectively, and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid software development experience with Power Platform.
• Experience with Azure services, C#, and modern web development.
• Able to manage workload and work in a multidisciplinary agile team.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and improve apps, integrations, processes and automations on the Power Platform.
• Write clean, secure, well-tested code following standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, testers and specialists.
• Explain technical options clearly and participate in peer reviews.
• Produce technical documentation and assist with testing and deployments.
