Job summary

Southern Water is hiring a Power & Co-pilot Platform Engineer to shape and manage our automation ecosystem from Durrington, with some travel to Falmer. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week) offers hybrid work with a minimum of 2 days on site and a salary of £49,200–£60,000.

You will work on meaningful challenges, delivering secure, scalable platforms and AI-driven solutions to improve operations and services for customers and the environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
• Background in RPA / automation platforms + Dataverse & Fabric.
• Understanding of security principles (DLP, RBAC, Purview).
• Ability to manage enterprise environments (performance, resilience, support).
• Experience producing technical standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Shape and manage Southern Water’s growing automation ecosystem.
• Administer core platforms like Power Platform & Copilot, ensuring security and scalability.
• Partner with architecture and security teams to define standards and drive AI/Automation rollouts.
• Provide hands-on platform engineering with strategic input across the business.
