YLEM Power is seeking a site-based maintenance operational assistant to respond quickly to equipment faults and keep detailed records of plant and infrastructure on generation facilities across the UK.

The role involves basic mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and supporting health and safety procedures while working with a skilled team. A driving licence and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience or interest in working with generation assets (reciprocating engines).
• Computer literate and able to work with basic digital records.

Responsibilities

• Attend allocated site(s) to respond quickly to equipment faults or downtime.
• Maintain and record-keep for infrastructure, plant and equipment.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical plant.
