Job summary
YTL UK is looking for an electrically qualified technician with industrial experience to maintain a variety of plant machinery and equipment at our sewage pumping facilities across the region. You will respond to breakdowns, fault-find, diagnose and repair to minimise downtime and uphold performance.
The role includes identifying improvements, implementing modifications to control systems, and contributing to safety, reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Electrical NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent required.
- Experience in industrial setting with fault-finding and maintenance preferred.
- Confined space working certificate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance.
- Attend breakdowns and fault-finding.
- Report on asset condition and performance.
- Modify control philosophy where needed.
- Manage personal stock and critical spares.
- Identify cost-saving improvements and efficiency gains.
- Cover out-of-hours callouts on a rota.
