Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) in Canterbury to service CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems, delivering reliable, low‑carbon power solutions.

You’ll handle electrical fault finding, drives, motors and PLCs in a customer‑facing role, with Monday to Friday work across the surrounding territory and clear opportunities for training and progression within a growing energy company.

Qualifications

• Experience working with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators or similar industrial plant.
• Electrical or mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).
• Customer facing role and ability to work across a local territory.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns on CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role with onsite visits across the territory.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.
