Job summary

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop and support the Trust's BI platform, delivering accurate information for operational management and strategic planning.

You will work with the Performance Team using SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI and Report Builder to create data warehouses, dashboards and reports, promoting data quality, automation and self-service analytics across clinical and corporate services.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent with advanced MS SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI and MS Excel.
Substantial experience developing ETL processes, Data Warehouses and SSRS reports with Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SQL, SSRS, VS2013).
Experience designing, coding, integrated dashboard scope, design and development.
Experience analysing and presenting data/findings to varied audiences.
Demonstrable experience of data transformation and loading of transformed data.
Knowledge of Data Protection legislation, data protection and Protection Toolkit

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain robust BI solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Develop data warehouses, ETL processes, dimensional models, databases, reports and dashboards.
Automate reporting processes and enable self-service reporting.
Ensure data quality, governance and security across datasets.
Collaborate with clinical, operational and corporate services to maximise BI value.
Document developments and provide training and support where appropriate.
