Job summary

Altro Limited in the UK is seeking an experienced Power BI Reporting Analyst to lead the finance reporting transformation. You will implement Power BI as the primary finance reporting platform, collaborate with FP&A and finance teams, and translate complex data into clear management reports.

The six‑month fixed‑term contract offers hybrid work splitting time between Letchworth HQ and home. You’ll design dashboards, build data models, write SQL and DAX, and map Cognos reports to Power BI to

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Power BI experience building dashboards and data models.
Solid SQL and DAX knowledge with BI reporting experience.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions.
Experience mapping Cognos reports to Power BI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of Power BI as the main finance reporting platform.
Collaborate with FP&A and finance stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models.
Write SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data from source systems.
Develop DAX calculations and measures to enable scalable reporting.
Map Cognos reports to Power BI solutions and ensure data accuracy.
Test, validate and document data definitions and handover materials.
