Altro is seeking an experienced Power BI Reporting Analyst to transform our finance reporting capability. You will implement Power BI as our primary finance reporting platform, working with FP&A and stakeholders to deliver insightful management reporting that informs decisions.

The role is a 6-month fixed-term contract with hybrid work between Letchworth HQ and home. You will design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models, write SQL, develop DAX, and map Cognos reports to the new

Qualifications

• Experience building Power BI dashboards and data models.
• Proficient in SQL and DAX.
• Experience with Cognos is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate requirements into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Power BI as the main finance reporting platform.
• Work with finance and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data.
• Develop DAX calculations to support scalable reporting.
• Review Cognos reports and map them to Power BI solutions.
• Test, reconcile and validate data for accuracy.
• Create documentation, data definitions and handover materials.
