Job summary

The AA in Oldbury is looking for a Power BI Developer to turn complex operating data into clear, actionable insights for Roadside Operations teams. You will build scalable dashboards, tell data stories, and deliver self‑service analytics across the business.

You’ll partner with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions and optimise DAX, Power Query and SQL while collaborating with Data Engineering to ensure governed, accessible data assets.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Power BI expertise with scalable solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts; Databricks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, high quality Power BI dashboards and semantic models that support strategic and operational decision making.
• Partner with stakeholders to interrogate requirements, translate business needs into data solutions.
• Turn data into meaningful insight using clear visualization and storytelling to enable decisions.
• Develop and optimise reporting pipelines, including DAX, Power Query and SQL performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data is structured and accessible for self‑service analytics.
• Champion Power BI governance and user adoption while improving BI capability.
