Job summary

SPG Resourcing in York is seeking a Power BI Developer to build and enhance high-quality reporting and dashboards across the business. You will work hands-on, taking reporting requirements from stakeholders through to delivery and ongoing improvement.

You will develop DAX measures and Power Query transformations, work with SQL, and help optimise report performance and usability while ensuring accuracy and documentation. A collaborative, data-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Power BI reports in a commercial environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Experience with semantic modelling, dimensional modelling, Row-Level Security or deployment pipelines is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
• Support semantic and dimensional data models.
• Work with SQL to extract, transform and analyse data.
• Improve report performance and usability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Power BI products.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and well documented.
• Work with Data and Analytics teams to improve reporting standards.
