Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Power BI Developer (Data Engineer) to lead the migration and development of Power BI solutions as part of a move to Microsoft Fabric. You will work with our Centre of Excellence and stakeholders across clinical, operational and corporate teams to translate requirements into impactful analytics.

Based in London, you will help build in-house capability, ensure data governance and security, and drive improvement in how the organisation uses data to support

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, data modelling and SQL.
• Experience delivering or supporting BI platform migrations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative approach and a passion for improving how organisations use data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, migration and assurance of Power BI solutions as we transition to Microsoft Fabric.
• Support the migration of existing Qlik dashboards to Power BI.
• Develop scalable data models, semantic models and reporting products.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and reporting standards are maintained.
• Work with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
• Help build internal capability through knowledge transfer, training and best-practice development.
