Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is transforming its analytics and reporting services, moving from Qlik to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer (Data Engineer) to lead the migration and deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Working within our BI, Data and Analytics function, you will collaborate with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to translate requirements into trusted insights while helping build in-house capability.

Qualifications

Proven experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Strong skills in DAX, data modelling and SQL.
Experience delivering or supporting BI platform migrations (e.g., Qlik to Power BI).
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Collaborative approach and passion for improving how organisations use data.

Responsibilities

Support migrating existing Qlik dashboards to Power BI.
Develop scalable data models, semantic models and reporting products.
Ensure data quality, governance, security and reporting standards are maintained.
Work with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders to translate requirements into insights.
Help build internal capability through knowledge transfer and training.
