Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a growing metalworking business in Baldock for a Powder Coating Operative to join a busy production team.

You will prepare metal components for powder coating, keep the workshop clean and safe, and move finished items with care while supporting general labouring tasks to help hit daily targets.

This full‑time role offers up to £38k plus overtime, with training and a stable, long‑term career in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or production environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling finished materials.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good work ethic and pride in maintaining high standards.
