Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor is seeking a Posting & Cleaning Operative to join a multi-skilled team. You will manage dedicated posting and cleaning rounds across Wednesbury or Redditch, working outdoors in all weather, often alone, with a van provided for business use.

You will have a fully expensed company vehicle, access to training and support, and a flexible 40-hour week with potential overtime and bonuses. A credible driving history enables steady participation in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with up to 3 points.
• Full-time role, outdoors and weather exposure; prior outdoor work helpful but not essential.
• Experience driving medium-sized vans.
• Remote/lone working experience advantageous (unsupervised).
• Ability to manage time and plan own workload.

Responsibilities

• Post adverts and perform cleaning rounds to high standards.
• Work outdoors on assigned routes in Wednesbury or Redditch areas, in a lone-working setup.
• Operate a fully expensed company van for round movements and site visits.
• Restock supplies and hear company updates during weekly depot visits.

You’ll be part of a multi-skilled team who are dedicated to ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. You’ll be responsible for your dedicated posting and cleaning round in either Wednesbury or Redditch areas. You can manage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you(following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning).

It is a physically demanding job and does require you to work outdoorsin all weathers so you’ll be in your comfort zoneworking aloneon the round,just you and your van. You just need to pop into our Birmingham branch, once per week to restock and to hear our latest company updates.

You’ll be provided with a Fully Expensed Company Vehiclefor business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping highs streets, residential areas, and rural areas.Dedicated training and supportwill be available to help get you started.

Requirements

• Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
• This is a full-time role working outdoors and some experience in working outside in all weather conditions is useful but not essential
• Driving experience using medium sized vans
• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervised
• The ability to manage your time and plan your own workload
• Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage
