Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor UK is seeking a Posting & Cleaning Operative to join our field team. You’ll manage a weekly cycle of posting adverts and cleaning bus shelters in the Birmingham and Leicester areas, outdoors in all weathers, with your own van.

You’ll work a 40-hour week with flexible scheduling, restocking at the Birmingham depot weekly, and you’ll receive a fully expensed company vehicle for work and commuting.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence with no more than 3 points.
• Full-time role working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience in driving medium sized vans is useful but not essential.
• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervised.
• Able to manage time and plan workload.
• Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Post adverts and perform cleaning on bus shelters to high standards in Birmingham and Leicester.
• Follow the 1-week posting / 1-week cleaning cycle and work outdoors with a dedicated van.
• Restock and hear company updates during weekly Birmingham branch visit.

Posting & Cleaning Operative (PCO) can provide just that. You'll be part of a multi-skilled team who are dedicated to ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. You'll be responsible for your dedicated posting and cleaning round in the Birmingham and Leicester areas. You can manage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you (following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning). It is a physically demanding job and does require you to work outdoors in all weathers so you'll be in your comfort zone working alone on the round, just you and your van. You just need to pop into our Birmingham branch, based in Portbury, once per week to restock and to hear our latest company updates. You'll be provided with a Fully Expensed Company Vehicle for business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping high streets, residential areas, and rural areas. Dedicated training and support will be available to help get you started.

Requirements
