Bauer Media Outdoor UK is hiring a Posting & Cleaning Operative in the Colchester area, offering a flexible 40-hour week with a unique 1-week posting and 1-week cleaning cycle. You will work outdoors, manage your own workload, and operate with a fully expensed company van.

Full training and ongoing support are provided. The role includes bonuses and a strong benefits package while maintaining independence and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
• Full-time role working outdoors and some experience in working outside in all weather conditions is useful but not essential
• Driving experience using medium sized vans
• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervisedThe ability to manage your time and plan your own workload
• Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Post adverts to a high standard across Colchester and surrounding areas
• Clean bus shelters as part of the round
• Manage a flexible 1-week posting and 1-week cleaning rhythm
• Travel with company vehicle and restock via Sawtry branch every 1–2 weeks

Job description

If you're looking for a job that can be flexible to suit your needs outside of work, then a role as a Posting & Cleaning Operative (PCO) can provide just that.

You'll be part of a multi-skilled team who are dedicated to ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. You will be responsible for your dedicated posting and cleaning round in the Colchester, Chelmsford and surrounding areas. You can manage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you (following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning).

It is a physically demanding job and does require you to work outdoors in all weathers so you'll be in your comfort zone working alone on the round, just you and your van. You just need to pop into our Sawtry branch once every one to two weeks to restock and to hear our latest company updates.

You'll be provided with a Fully Expensed Company Vehicle for business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping heights streets, residential areas, and rural areas. Dedicated training and support will be available to help get you started.

Requirements
