Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor is seeking a Posting & Cleaning Operative to manage posting and cleaning rounds across Birmingham and Leicester. The role is full-time, outdoors, and you will work independently with a company van provided for business use, including commuting.

You’ll follow a simple weekly rhythm of posting one week and cleaning the next, with training and support available. A valid licence and van experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full-time role outdoors; experience working outside in all weather conditions is useful but not essential.
• Must hold a valid driving licence with low penalties and be comfortable driving a medium-sized van.
• Ability to manage time and plan your own workload independently.

Responsibilities

• Post adverts and clean dedicated rounds in Birmingham and Leicester areas.
• Manage a 40-hour weekly pattern with flexible scheduling (1 week posting, 1 week cleaning).
• Work outdoors in all weather, often solo, using your van for on-site tasks.

You’ll be part of a multi-skilled team who are dedicated to ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. You’ll be responsible for your dedicated posting and cleaning round in aBirmingham and Leicester areas. You canmanage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you(following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning).

It is a physically demanding job and does require you towork outdoorsin all weathers so you’ll be in your comfort zoneworking aloneon the round,just you and your van. You just need to pop into ourBirmingham branch, based in Portbury, once per week to restock and to hear our latest company updates.

You’ll be provided with aFully Expensed Company Vehiclefor business use including commuting to and from the depot and to get around our different settings including busy shopping highs streets, residential areas, and rural areas.Dedicated training and supportwill be available to help get you started.

Requirements

• Driving Licence with no more than 3 points


• This is a full-time role working outdoors and some experience in working outside in all weather conditions is useful but not essential


• Driving experience using medium sized vans


• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervised


• The ability to manage your time and plan your own workload


• Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage
