Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Postgraduate Programmes Administrator to join the EPCC teaching administration team in The Bayes Centre. You will support postgraduate taught programmes, handling course administration and pastoral support for students and staff.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with potential hybrid working after an initial familiarisation period. This is a fixed-term maternity cover until 30 November 2027 in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and judgment to resolve day-to-day problems independently.
• Strong organisational skills to plan and prepare materials for the Postgraduate Taught cycle.
• Proven IT-literacy to use common O365 software and University systems with accuracy and speed.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide course and programme administration to EPCC’s Postgraduate Taught portfolio.
• Support students and staff in a timely fashion across teaching and assessment cycles.
• Assist with daily co-ordination of teaching and assessment processes.
