Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for a full-time, 35-hour-per-week Postgraduate Taught Administrator in EPCC, based at The Bayes Centre, Edinburgh. The role combines meticulous course administration with student-facing duties, supporting teaching and assessment across the EPCC Postgraduate Taught portfolio.

Open to hybrid working; peak times may require on-campus presence. Salary is in the UE05 range, with maternity cover through 30 November 2027.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and judgement to resolve day-to-day problems.
• Strong organisational skills to plan and prepare materials for postgraduate teaching cycles.

Responsibilities

• Provide course and programme administration to EPCC’s Postgraduate Taught portfolio.
• Coordinate daily teaching and assessment activities to support students and staff.
