Qualifications
- PhD in relevant subjects (plant biology, plant cell biology).
- Experience in protein engineering, plant cell biology analysis, bioimaging with advanced image analysis, plant transformation, AnalyzER software for analysis of cellular structures.
- Experience with statistical analysis.
- Excellent teamwork, planning, organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise genetically engineered plants capable of removing methane from the environment.
- Engineer plant systems to express MMO enzymes and investigate expression, assembly, stability and activity in planta.
- Collaborate with external partners in methane detection and contribute to publications and presentations.
