Job type: Fixed Termcontract 9 months

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.Working hours: 30:00hours per week - working 9 days in a fortnight across Monday - Sunday -07:00-15:45 and09:30-17:00*

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You'll be required to work one in four Sundays at Stroud Delivery Office 10:00-16:00

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
• Driving a Royal Mail van daily

About you

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
