Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Banff is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels as part of a 35-hour week. You’ll work on a rotating shift, including Sundays, with an on-site delivery office in Banff.

Training is provided, and you’ll receive a uniform and a Royal Mail van to operate daily. The role requires a full manual UK driving licence (points limit apply), the ability to pass a driving assessment, and physical fitness to walk long distances while carrying mail bags.

Location: Banff Delivery Office, AB45 1AA

Job type: Fixed Term contract (9 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 35:00 hours per week - working 5days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 09:00/18:20*

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You'll be required to work Sundays at Banff Delivery Office.
