Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Ramsgate is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver for a temporary period. You will deliver letters and parcels with a focus on customer service, working outdoors and independently.

Shifts run 12:00pm–20:00pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability; 30 hours per week at £13.69 per hour. You start at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries and navigate routes with a handheld device.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
