Job summary

Pertemps – a Royal Mail recruitment partner – seeks Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in Deal. Immediate start on a temporary, full-time basis. Pay is £13.69 per hour with 30 hours weekly and a schedule of 12:00–20:00, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points) preferred.

Job description

As a Postal Delivery Driver in Deal, you will commence each shift at the local delivery office, sorting and loading your allocated mail and parcels. Your primary duty involves delivering mail and packages along a designated route, using a handheld device for navigation and capturing customer signatures. This full-time, temporary position offers £13.69 per hour and requires 30 hours weekly, scheduled between 12:00pm and 20:00pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability. You must be comfortable walking up to eight miles daily and lifting mailbags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
