Job summary

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a delivery office team in Chorley (PR6). You will deliver letters and parcels, acting as the friendly face in your community while working a 14:00-21:00 shift on a full-time basis.

The role is temporary with a potential to become permanent. A full UK driving licence (6 points max), held for at least 6 months, is required, along with a DBS check and a can-do attitude. Weekly pay is offered along with pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Friendly, self-motivated and trustworthy.
• DBS check to be completed; Blue Arrow covers cost.

Responsibilities

• Start at the local delivery office and sort mail for your route.
• Hit the road in a van, delivering letters and parcels to homes and businesses.

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Chorley (PR6). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 14:00-21:00
• Days: 5 days from 7
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm

What You'll Need:
