Job summary

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Lochgilphead (PA31). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

The role is full-time with hours 06:00-14:00, five days from 6, on a temporary basis with potential to become permanent. Pay is £13.69 per hour, with benefits including weekly pay, a pension scheme, wellbeing

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months.
• Able to work solo and outdoors in all weather.
• Customer-focused with a friendly approach.
• DBS/PVG check provided by Blue Arrow.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail at the local delivery office for your route.
• Deliver letters and parcels by van to homes and businesses.
• Use a handheld device to track deliveries and stay on schedule.
• Provide excellent service in all weather with a smile.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 06:00-14:00
• Days: 5 days from 6
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm

What You'll Need:
