Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting Postal Delivery Drivers in Egremont (CA22) to join a busy delivery office team. Deliver letters and parcels by van, with some route walking, using handheld devices to stay on schedule.

Full-time hours 09:00–15:00, 5 days from 6, temp with potential to go permanent, weekly pay and a benefits package including pension and EAP.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months.
• Dependable, self-driven attitude.
• Comfort working solo and outdoors in all weather.
• Team spirit and helping others.
• Basic DBS/PVG check (Blue Arrow covers cost).

Responsibilities

• Begin at the local delivery office, sorting mail for your route.

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Egremont (CA22). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 09:00 - 15:00
• Days: 5 days from 6
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
