Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join our Kirkwall delivery office. This full-time role involves delivering letters and parcels across the local area, with a 9:45–16:45 schedule and 5 days from the 6th. Temp contract with potential to become permanent.

You will use a handheld device to track progress and provide friendly, reliable service in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with max 6 penalty points.
• Dependable, self-driven attitude and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort working solo and outdoors, with a team spirit.
• Basic DBS check will be covered by Blue Arrow.

• Begin at the local delivery office, sorting mail for your route.
• Hit the road delivering letters and parcels to homes and businesses.

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Kirkwall (KW15). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 9:45-16:45
• Days: 5 days from 6
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
