Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Guildford to deliver letters and parcels across a rotating shift, including Sundays. You’ll work outdoors, walk long distances, and engage with the local community while carrying out duties with a focus on reliability and safety.

Location: Guildford DO, GU1 1AA

Job type: Permanent contract (9 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 37 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 07:00 - 15:00 or 12:00 - 20:00. During Christmas, this may change - this will be discussed at interview.

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)

About You

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
