Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Fareham for Royal Mail. The role is temporary, 30 hours per week, with shifts from 15:00 to 21:00 and weekend availability.

You will load deliveries at the depot, deliver by foot or vehicle, and handle parcels up to 20kg with handheld device use for sign-offs. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence (6 points max, clean preferred) and have strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with clean record and held for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
