Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Hailsham to support Royal Mail. Start date immediate; shift 9am–5pm, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

You will deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, load deliveries at the office, use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation, and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with clean record.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg; use delivery trolleys when required.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
