Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Carterton. The role is a temporary contract with 40 hours per week and a pay rate of £13.69 per hour. Shifts run 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required.

You'll start at the local delivery office, load deliveries, and use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation. Deliveries are made on foot and by vehicle, with light lifting and outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Hold licence for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
