Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Andover is seeking Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers to join a temporary team. You will deliver letters and parcels, start from the local delivery office, and navigate routes with a handheld device.

The role emphasizes customer service, independence outdoors, and adapting to weather conditions. Shifts are 25 hours weekly, with a 14:00–19:00 schedule and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
