Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers for Parcelforce in Basingstoke. You will start at the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, then deliver by vehicle or on foot across routes.

The role involves walking up to 8 miles daily, manual handling of mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, and using a handheld device for routes and signatures. Weekend flexibility and outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

Position: Postal / Parcel Delivery Driver

Employment Type: Temporary, Up to 35 hours per week

Location: Basingstoke

Pay Rate: £15.06 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, including weekend flexibility

• Operations: Utilise a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.
• Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.
• Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.
• Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
