Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers on behalf of Royal Mail in Dudley. The role offers up to 30 hours per week with shifts from 8:30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday with weekend flexibility.

You will load at the delivery office, then deliver by vehicle or on foot, walking up to 8 miles daily. This outdoor, physical role requires a full UK manual driving licence (6 points max) and a customer‑first approach.

About the Opportunity

Pertemps is currently recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers on behalf of Royal Mail. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy independent outdoor work and have a strong passion for customer service.

Core Responsibilities

• Preparation: Begin shifts at the local delivery office to accurately sort and load daily deliveries.


• Distribution: Deliver mail and parcels both by vehicle and on foot. This physical role involves walking up to 8 miles per day.


• Operations: Utilise a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.


• Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).


• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.


• Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.


• Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
