Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Guildford and surrounding areas. Start immediately with shifts from 8am to 8pm, 30–40 hours per week.

You will load deliveries, use a handheld device for proof of delivery, and walk or drive to complete routes outdoors in all weather. The role emphasizes strong customer service and reliable time management, with a driving licence required and no more than six points.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred) held for at least 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £16.24 per hour

Hours: 30 to 40 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: Between: 8am - 8pm
