TGJones is seeking a capable Operations Manager to lead a post office branch embedded in a retail store. You will manage Counter Assistants, ensuring a high standard of customer service while upholding compliance and achieving commercial targets.

Your leadership will drive efficiency in mail handling and financial controls within the store. You will oversee training, coaching, and development across the team, creating a welcoming environment and supporting staff growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in customer-facing retail or postal environments.
• Strong understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent service at all post office counters.
• Ensure compliance with Post Office policies, procedures and security standards.
• Manage financial accountability, daily reconciliations, branch audits and cash handling.
• Collaborate with Cluster Manager to implement Trading Plan and translate data into actions.
