The Post Office Operations Manager role is based in a branch within our retail store, leading a team of Counter Assistants to deliver consistently excellent customer service while ensuring compliance and robust operations.

You will manage cash handling, reconciliations, audits, and KPIs, working with the Cluster Manager to implement trading plans and improve performance. A strong, service-oriented leader will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a customer-facing retail, financial, or postal environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading teams in achieving KPIs and service goals, including transaction volumes and customer satisfaction.
• Hands-on approach with training and developing your team.

Responsabilités

• Leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service across all post office counters and functions.
• Ensuring full compliance with Post Office Ltd. policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Managing financial accountability and operational performance, including daily reconciliations, branch audits, and cash handling protocols.
• Working with your Cluster Manager to implement the Trading Plan and translate scorecard data into actions.
• Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where team members are supported and developed.
