TGJones is seeking a Post Office Operations Manager to run a high-performing branch embedded within our retail store. You will lead a team of Counter Assistants, ensuring exceptional customer experience while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and commercial performance.

The role involves managing financial accountability, daily reconciliations, and working with the Cluster Manager to execute trading plans. Training and developing the team, with a flexible weekend schedule, are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a customer-facing retail or financial environment.
• Knowledge of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Counter Assistants to deliver exceptional service at all post office counters.
• Ensure compliance with Post Office policies, procedures and security standards.
• Manage financial accountability including daily reconciliations, branch audits and cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the Cluster Manager to implement trading plans and translate scorecard data into action for improved performance.
• Create an inclusive environment that supports team development and growth.
