Job summary

Clayton Legal in South Manchester is seeking a dedicated Post Completions Clerk to join its Conveyancing department. You will manage post-completion tasks for a busy residential caseload, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and Help to Buy cases from completion onwards.

The ideal candidate will have Conveyancing/post-completion experience and familiarity with Land Registry rules. Applications from Paralegals, Legal Executives or experienced Legal Secretaries are

• Experience in residential conveyancing and post-completion processes.
• Familiarity with Land Registry requirements and procedures.
• Background as Paralegal, Legal Executive, or Legal Secretary with post-completion expertise.

Responsibilities

• Handle post-completion work for residential conveyancing matters from completion onwards.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and timely progression of files through to registration.
• Assist with sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and Help to Buy cases.

This well-established and highly respected law firm, located in South Manchester, is seeking to appoint a dedicated Post Completions Clerk to join its expanding and successful Conveyancing department.

In this role, you will provide essential support on a busy caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases, re‑mortgages, transfer of equity transactions, and Help to Buy cases specifically from the point of completion onwards. You will handle all aspects of post‑completion work, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely progression of files through to registration.

The ideal candidate will have Conveyancing experience, with a background in post‑completion processes and working knowledge of Land Registry requirements and procedures. The firm is open to applications from Paralegals, Legal Executives, or experienced Legal Secretaries who possess extensive post‑completion expertise.

This position may also suit an experienced Conveyancer who is seeking a change of pace or looking to transition into a more focused post‑completion role.
