Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Conveyancing Assistant to join the post-completions team in Sale, Greater Manchester. You will support the post-completion function of a busy conveyancing department and develop specialist knowledge in residential property law.

The role offers career development within a well-established firm, with training from experienced conveyancers and opportunities to progress in post-completion procedures and Land Registry filings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm or conveyancing environment is preferred.
• Understanding of residential conveyancing processes.
• Some knowledge of HM Land Registry, SDLT post-completion procedures.
• Strong admin and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist post-completion process for residential property sales and purchases.
• Prepare and submit HM Land Registry applications.
• Submit AP1 forms and SDLT returns.
• Monitor registrations and deadlines.
• Liaise with solicitors, clients, lenders and third parties.
• Update case management system and maintain files.
• Provide admin support to the conveyancing team.
