Job summary

The Priory Lincoln Academy is seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Instructor/Teacher to deliver a Level 2 Motor Vehicle course to Post-16 students, with safety compliance and engaging instruction as priorities.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, hands-on training and theory in maintenance and repair, assessing student performance, and upholding industry standards.

The role can be tailored to part-time or full-time hours, with opportunities to upskill as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) desirable but not essential.
• Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33) desirable but not essential.
• Experience delivering motor vehicle courses or practical training.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Level 2 Motor Vehicle courses to Post-16 students.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
• Provide hands-on training and theoretical instruction in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
