Job summary

Somerset Care Group’s Realise service in Highbridge is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Worker. You will support individuals living with learning disabilities in their own homes or out in the community, delivering person-centred care that enhances independence and quality of life.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team with full induction, ongoing training, and a range of benefits. Roles available on a part-time or full-time basis, with mileage allowance and access to wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and own vehicle.
• Knowledge of the Highbridge area and ability to commute to Highbridge from home location.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Experience in mental health and learning disabilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work from care plans to support day-to-day living tasks (personal care, housekeeping, emotional support, social interactions).
• Provide person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Assist clients in attending appointments and activities in the community.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality care that aligns with Somerset Care Group values.

For this role, you will need to ensure you have:

• A full valid driving licence and your own vehicle.
• Knowledge of the Highbridge area and able to commute to Highbridge from your home location.
