Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities and brain injuries in England and Wales. You will support daily routines, promote independence, help develop life skills, accompany appointments and assist with personal care, cleaning and cooking.

A paid DBS check, induction and progression opportunities are provided. We value reliability, empathy and teamwork, and offer a competitive package, pension, and a referral bonus

Qualifications

• DBS check may be required and is paid by employer
• Over 18 years of age required

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and assisting with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
